The Real McCoy (13-2) vs La Flama Blanca (11-4)
McCoy survived the initial playoff rd with an underwhelming performance. If McCoy would have played Flama last week they would have lost. Alas, that wasn't the case and they square off this week. Fans couldn't ask for much more as the two MFFL champions in years 1 and 2 face off. With both teams looking for their second title, you can be sure that both managers will look to optimize their lineups this week. Flama is to be reckoned with and has probably been the most consistent team all season. McCoy has some tough matchups this week but will have to try to overcome them. This matchup starts Saturday with Maclin on the field for Flama. Week 16 starters are as follows:
QB - Andrew Luck (needs to have 1 more big week. Huge importance)
WR - Randall Cobb (could this be the week he returns to the end zone?)
WR - Kelvin Benjamin ( does Haden play? If not, it would upgrade Benjamin)
RB - Matt Forte (his team has quit, tough matchup, but can he rise up one more time?)
RB - CJ Anderson (big factor in this weeks matchup)
TE - Rob Gronkowski (show why you were an early rd pick)
FLEX - Vincent Jackson (could be a risky play. Counting on TB having to throw)
K - Matt Prater (every position is key this week. Can't afford to play bad)
DEF - Baltimore (good matchup on paper. But they do have to go against foster)
Last week of the season! Go show what you are made of! This hasn't been the most obvious group of players that would make it this far but they have shown true heart and a will to win.
McCoy’s expertise in stadium engineering has allowed them to make their side of the field 10 degrees cooler than their opponents side. Through this clever air conditioning manipulation, their life long nickname “Luther Lube” is reinforced. They have the skills to obtain victories in a manner similar to Lex Luther achieving success. Their knowledge allows them to have the most well lit stadium in the league. You have never lived until you have gone to their stadium for a night game.

Week 15 Starters
The Real McCoy (12-2) vs Whitner Wonderland (9-5)
What a season! McCoy set the record for the best regular season in MFFL history. What does that mean now? Absolutely nothing! It's playoff a time. That means everything goes out the window and a new season starts in itself. Time and time again number one seeds have lost first round. No one knows this better than McCoy who took down a powerhouse year 1 in the MFFL. Each decision made is critical at this stage. McCoy hopes to make the right decisions and hopes his team comes to play this week. Nothing is worse than not performing to your ability in playoff time. McCoy believes in his players and the players believe in themselves and one another. It's time! Let's get it on! Week 15 starters are:
QB - Andrew Luck (one of Mccoy's team leaders)
WR - Randall Cobb (has been down of late. Time to pick it up)
WR - Kelvin Benjamin (need more catches/yds but still been a solid producer)
RB - Matt Forte (the heart of this team. Will be needed)
RB - CJ Anderson (this is a player teams in the playoffs need. A wildcard who gets hot)
TE - Rob Gronkowski (go out and do your thing big guy)
Flex - Vincent Jackson (is a risky play. But he could erase his disappointing yr starting this week)
K - Matt Prater (has been kicking a decent number of fgs lately)
Def - Vikings (has been playing well but has a tough matchup on the road)

Well, the winning streak is over. Two bad weeks in a row. Time to step back up and get that consistency back. Good news is the whole gang is back together. Pollo will be determined as he needs to most likely win out to make the playoffs. Week 11 starters are:
QB - Andrew Luck (welcome back sir)
RB - Matt Forte (time to get back in the groove)
RB - CJ Anderson (welcome to the lineup!)
WR - Randall Cobb (still playing well)
WR - Kelvin Benjamin (team struggling but has a good matchup)
TE - Rob Gronkowski (Should be fresh coming off a bye)
Flex - Mike Wallace (tannehill please complete a bomb for once)
K - Chandler Catanzaro (step the f up)
Def - Miami (plays Thursday against a team giving up sacks)
While McCoy sits at 8-2 this team needs to get back in the groove. Need to end the season on a good note.

Week 10 Starters
The Real McCoy (8-1) vs Whitner Wonderland (6-3)
McCoy finally beat his rival reckoning even though it was a struggle. They have two more players on bye making it tough. However, forte and Cobb are back. McCoy hopes to put more pts on the board. Another divisional matchup will make for a tough week. Week 10 starters are as follows:
QB - Carson Palmer (can he get another 2 tds?)
RB - Matt Forte (welcome back)
RB - Lamar Miller (banged up. How will that effect him?)
WR - Randall Cobb (welcome back mr td)
WR - Kelvin Benjamin (expect a bounce back game)
TE - Mychal Rivera (interesting pickup. Not asking for too much)
Flex - Mike Wallace (step up or risk the bench)
K - Chandler Catanzaro (pick it up)
Def - Miami (tough matchup but have been performing)
The good news is Whitner has bye week players too. Even with some star players gone people will be watching. Can McCoy make it 8straight wins? Watch and find out.

Week 9 Starters
The Real McCoy (6-1-1) vs The Reckoning Rises (4-4)
McCoy is coming off the best game in MFFL history with a pending 183-183 tie. This team continues to put up points. However, how will they respond without two of their best players in forte and Cobb out? This matchup looks a little brighter than in the past with the acquisition of Lamar miller and the consistent play out of his players. This will start out Thursday with both McCoy and reckoning having a Thursday night player. Reckoning does have their best WR out in alshon which helps. McCoy fans are hoping they can finally beat reckoning in the regular season. It will be tough as reckoning has a three game losing streak and is as hungry as ever. Week 9 starters are as follows:
QB - Andrew Luck (needs another good game)
RB - Lamar Miller (Time to shine with forte out. At home this week)
RB - Christopher Ivory (I beg of you to get in the end zone for a third straight week)
WR - Kelvin Benjamin (needs to step up this week with Cobb out.)
WR - Mike Wallace (looks to perform better after a bad week. He did catch a deep ball last week)
TE - Rob Gronkowski (he's officially back in business. Do your thing bug guy)
Flex - TBD (will be a WR. Not sure who yet)
K - Chandler Catanzaro (kick more figs this week!)
Def - 49ers (at home and got a much needed rest. Decent matchup against StL)
This lineup doesn't look as good without forte and Cobb but still has some guys that can put up points. Look for another battle this week against reckoning. If all else fails, they just want to play well against them this time. And McCoy fans think they will.

Week 8 Starters
The Real McCoy (6-1) vs It Ertz When I Pee (2-5)
Wow. Five straight wins. No one would have predicted this for McCoy after a roster without superstar wrs and no rb2. But they continue to put up pts and get in the end zone every week. But something has to give and McCoy will have to have a down week. The week 8 starters will feature:
QB - Andrew Luck (very consistent. Looks to continue)
RB - Matt Forte (needs rushing yds to go up)
RB - Lamar Miller (good debut last week. Keep it up)
WR- Randall Cobb (seriously this td streak will stop. But production has been better)
WR - Vincent Jackson (will need to prove he should be in the starting lineup)
TE - Rob Gronkowski (look for a td this week)
Flex - Mike Wallace (has scored double digits every week. Catches and yds still need to increase)
K - Chandler Catanzaro (new week, new kicker. Looks to be in a shoutout)
Def - Miami (good matchup)
Starting three dolphins this week is risky but it is a very good matchup. Ertz will bounce back after a tough week. Don't count them out. Stay tuned to see if the win streak can hit 6. No guarantees any week in fantasy.

Week 7 Starters
The Real McCoy (5-1) vs Whitner Wonderland (4-2)
This appears to be the matchup of the week. Both teams are playing well and staying consistent. While McCoy does have the easiest schedule in the league they have the third most pts and are one of the most consistent. We'll see if the streak can continue against wonderland. Week 7 starters are as follows:
QB - Andrew Luck (continues to perform well)
RB - Matt Forte (22 catches the last two games. Look for that to decrease a bit)
RB - Lamar Miller (welcome to the team. Can he be the RB2 McCoy has needed?)
WR - Randall Cobb (unreal td streak. Hoping for catches to go up)
WR - Kelvin Benjamin (might not play this week due to a concussion. If not, Pierre will be in)
TE - Rob Gronkowski (looks better each week. Another Thursday player for McCoy)
Flex - Mike Wallace (hoping for yds to increase. Continues to stay consistent though)
K - Matt Prater (hoping fg misses can be fixed)
Def - Browns (should play well against Jacksonville)
Stay tuned to see if the win streak can continue. This will be a very tough test. Whitner is one of the best teams in the league.

Week 6 Starters
The Real McCoy (4-1) vs Tavon and Only (3-2)
McCoy is on one of his best win streaks since joining the MFFL. They look to continue that against rival Tavon. The projected starters are as follows:
QB - Andrew Luck (tough matchup on the road)
RB - Matt Forte (can he get in the end zone again?)
RB - Chris Ivory (at home this week)
WR - Randall Cobb (can the td streak continue?)
WR - Kelvin Benjamin (bad performance last week. Looks to bounce back against a tough def)
TE - Rob Gronkowski (finally appears healthy)
Flex - Mike Wallace (welcome back from your bye sir. Wallace needs targets to remain up)
K - Cody Parkey (playing for a good offense)
Def - 49ers (on the road but decent matchup)

QB - Andrew luck (can he keep his current pace?)
RB - Matt forte (look for a better game this week against gb)
RB - Pierre Thomas (awarded another start. Playing in a possible shoutout)

Flex - Kelvin Benjamin (trying to earn his stripes and prove he's a weekly starter)
K- Cody Parkey (kicks for a good offense)
Def - MIA ( playing a rookie QB)

Week 2 Matchup
The Real McCoy (1-0) vs The Reckoning Rises (0-1)
The week that everyone has been waiting for has finally arrived. After a year of being called out by Reckoning, McCoy has shifted gears putting them squarely on his radar. A team that was looked at previously as a tough divisional matchup will now be circled on the calendar each time these two foes matchup. Calling out a league champion is certainly a bold move, but as everyone knows Reckoning is not afraid of any manager. Reckoning has clearly had Mccoy's number in the regular season thus far. However, they could not win in he crucial 2012 championship game. Ever since, Reckoning has put a target on McCoy. The time is now for McCoy to turn things around and put a target on Reckoning. It starts this week in what looks to be a great divisional matchup and is certainly the game of the week. The starting lineup for McCoy is as follows:
QB - Andrew Luck
RB - Matt Forte
RB - Shane Vareen
WR - Randall Cobb
WR - Vincent Jackson
TE - Rob Gronkowski
Flex - Mike Wallace
K - Steven Hauschka
DEF - 49ers
The time is now to find out if McCoy can get past the inconsistencies they have had the first couple MFFL seasons. It all starts with the QB position where some say McCoy is cursed. Luck will need to build upon his week 1 performance. The RB duo maybe the best Mccoy has had after a draft. They are hoping Forte can keep pace with shady McCoy this week. Randall Cobb must show consistency had not be horribly outperformed by Nelson while Jackson must bounce back after a bad week 1 performance. Good news is Jackson typically doesn't have two bad weeks in a row. Fans are most excited about being able to yell "gronk" during games again and dance with their shirts off. One question is the 49ers defense. This may be a risky play as several players are hurt. However, they are playing cutler and both bears wrs are banged up. If nothing else this week, McCoy wants his team to play their hearts out and leave nothing on the field. This team is not happy about being called out and disrespected. Reckoning has an early 10 lead but that's nothing McCoy can't come back from. Cameras will be all over this matchup Sunday and both teams will be ready tonight.

2014 MFFL Draft
After a disappointing 2013 MFFL season The Real McCoy franchise and manager Brian Johnson look to get back on top. What will it take to get back to the top and make the playoffs? Manager Brian Johnson stated "First things first, it all starts with draft preparation and getting players that perform at a high level. Last season we had a rough draft and many players did not come to perform on Sundays or were inconsistent." Consistency will be important this season for McCoy to get back to the playoffs. Asked what the differences will be in this years draft Manager Johnson stated "We need to make sure that we make the right selections during the early rounds. Last season we had a good first round selection but after that our guys did not perform to expectations. We had solid middle rounds and we need that to continue." There has been much speculation on what will happen during the two first rounds of the draft. When asked about what McCoy expects Brian stated "Honestly, during the first round we expect to draft one of the top 4 ranked RB's in the draft. Whether that be McCoy, Charles, Peterson, or Forte we will be excited to have one of those guys on our roster. We have not had the chance to have a player like that in awhile. As for the second round we honestly have no idea what to expect. We have our eye on some players that might be available. We just need to make sure that we take the best player for our franchise and someone that will make a difference on the field and help week in and week out. We can't control who other managers take. We just have to go out there and pick from who's available and who we think will help out the team the most." If there is one thing that is certain, it is that The Real McCoy fans are ready for the season and have high expectations. With McCoy drafting at the 4th spot, anything less than a playoff position will be a disappointment.
