The Real McCoy (5-1) vs Whitner Wonderland (4-2)
This appears to be the matchup of the week. Both teams are playing well and staying consistent. While McCoy does have the easiest schedule in the league they have the third most pts and are one of the most consistent. We'll see if the streak can continue against wonderland. Week 7 starters are as follows:
QB - Andrew Luck (continues to perform well)
RB - Matt Forte (22 catches the last two games. Look for that to decrease a bit)
RB - Lamar Miller (welcome to the team. Can he be the RB2 McCoy has needed?)
WR - Randall Cobb (unreal td streak. Hoping for catches to go up)
WR - Kelvin Benjamin (might not play this week due to a concussion. If not, Pierre will be in)
TE - Rob Gronkowski (looks better each week. Another Thursday player for McCoy)
Flex - Mike Wallace (hoping for yds to increase. Continues to stay consistent though)
K - Matt Prater (hoping fg misses can be fixed)
Def - Browns (should play well against Jacksonville)
Stay tuned to see if the win streak can continue. This will be a very tough test. Whitner is one of the best teams in the league.
McCoy’s expertise in stadium engineering has allowed them to make their side of the field 10 degrees cooler than their opponents side. Through this clever air conditioning manipulation, their life long nickname “Luther Lube” is reinforced. They have the skills to obtain victories in a manner similar to Lex Luther achieving success. Their knowledge allows them to have the most well lit stadium in the league. You have never lived until you have gone to their stadium for a night game.

Def - 49ers (on the road but decent matchup)

Week 2 Matchup
The Real McCoy (1-0) vs The Reckoning Rises (0-1)
The week that everyone has been waiting for has finally arrived. After a year of being called out by Reckoning, McCoy has shifted gears putting them squarely on his radar. A team that was looked at previously as a tough divisional matchup will now be circled on the calendar each time these two foes matchup. Calling out a league champion is certainly a bold move, but as everyone knows Reckoning is not afraid of any manager. Reckoning has clearly had Mccoy's number in the regular season thus far. However, they could not win in he crucial 2012 championship game. Ever since, Reckoning has put a target on McCoy. The time is now for McCoy to turn things around and put a target on Reckoning. It starts this week in what looks to be a great divisional matchup and is certainly the game of the week. The starting lineup for McCoy is as follows:
QB - Andrew Luck
RB - Matt Forte
RB - Shane Vareen
WR - Randall Cobb
WR - Vincent Jackson
TE - Rob Gronkowski
Flex - Mike Wallace
K - Steven Hauschka
DEF - 49ers
The time is now to find out if McCoy can get past the inconsistencies they have had the first couple MFFL seasons. It all starts with the QB position where some say McCoy is cursed. Luck will need to build upon his week 1 performance. The RB duo maybe the best Mccoy has had after a draft. They are hoping Forte can keep pace with shady McCoy this week. Randall Cobb must show consistency had not be horribly outperformed by Nelson while Jackson must bounce back after a bad week 1 performance. Good news is Jackson typically doesn't have two bad weeks in a row. Fans are most excited about being able to yell "gronk" during games again and dance with their shirts off. One question is the 49ers defense. This may be a risky play as several players are hurt. However, they are playing cutler and both bears wrs are banged up. If nothing else this week, McCoy wants his team to play their hearts out and leave nothing on the field. This team is not happy about being called out and disrespected. Reckoning has an early 10 lead but that's nothing McCoy can't come back from. Cameras will be all over this matchup Sunday and both teams will be ready tonight.

2014 MFFL Draft
After a disappointing 2013 MFFL season The Real McCoy franchise and manager Brian Johnson look to get back on top. What will it take to get back to the top and make the playoffs? Manager Brian Johnson stated "First things first, it all starts with draft preparation and getting players that perform at a high level. Last season we had a rough draft and many players did not come to perform on Sundays or were inconsistent." Consistency will be important this season for McCoy to get back to the playoffs. Asked what the differences will be in this years draft Manager Johnson stated "We need to make sure that we make the right selections during the early rounds. Last season we had a good first round selection but after that our guys did not perform to expectations. We had solid middle rounds and we need that to continue." There has been much speculation on what will happen during the two first rounds of the draft. When asked about what McCoy expects Brian stated "Honestly, during the first round we expect to draft one of the top 4 ranked RB's in the draft. Whether that be McCoy, Charles, Peterson, or Forte we will be excited to have one of those guys on our roster. We have not had the chance to have a player like that in awhile. As for the second round we honestly have no idea what to expect. We have our eye on some players that might be available. We just need to make sure that we take the best player for our franchise and someone that will make a difference on the field and help week in and week out. We can't control who other managers take. We just have to go out there and pick from who's available and who we think will help out the team the most." If there is one thing that is certain, it is that The Real McCoy fans are ready for the season and have high expectations. With McCoy drafting at the 4th spot, anything less than a playoff position will be a disappointment.
